Doctors without Borders

I had the privilege of photographing and meeting an amazing woman and amazing cause recently for the OC Weekly. Mary Jo Frawley is a RN who travels to places like Sri Lanka, Somalia, Mexico, and Angola caring for refugees. I met her in Santa Monica beach on a Friday morning at the Faux refugee camp they set up to bring awareness to their cause. She was shy and not used to getting her picture taken. She kept telling me "It's not about me, its about all the people I meet and get to work with." She is such a sweet hearted person. Please read the article if you can, and check out their website Doctorswithoutborders.org. to learn more.

new cover and portraits for the OC Weekly

I shot the cover and inside portraits for Less of Mor for this week's issue of the OC Weekly. It was fun to get out of my realm and do a still life. I used to shoot still life every once in a while back in school and really loved doing them. I hardly get the chance to do that anymore, so this was fun. The art director took the outlines I did of the plates and used them on the type, which came out pretty cool. Thanks Kelly!

Its Always Sunny on Set

Got the chance to go on the set of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Friday. These guys are hilarious! Plus super nice. Here's a few shots from the set. I can't show the posed shot quite yet, but its a good one! The scene is in a bank and the guys are trying to get a loan to help solve the gas crisis.

Cover for LA Weekly-Cougars

I shot this week's cover and story for the LA Weekly. On stands now. It's about Cougars- older women who date younger men. It's pretty interesting and I hear they are going to be making a reality show about it,.
